For the last three years, I’ve been with Theia Finance Labs (for­mer­ly 2° Invest­ing Ini­tia­tive). Ini­tial­ly, I played a key role as the Deputy Research Head of 1in1000, a new pro­gramme we intro­duced. This was my first dive into launch­ing a pro­gramme, cov­er­ing strat­e­gy, mar­ket­ing, and man­ag­ing peo­ple. After its suc­cess­ful start, I chose to lead anoth­er pro­gramme named ““tilt””, let­ting me focus on what I’m tru­ly pas­sion­ate about and being ulti­mate­ly respon­si­ble for the suc­cess of the pro­gramme. My work at ““tilt”” ben­e­fits from my past expe­ri­ence and my knack for jug­gling dif­fer­ent roles, from man­ag­ing the team and prod­uct to design­ing our web­site. Along­side this, I’m a research assis­tant at Hum­boldt Uni­ver­si­ty, ensur­ing our data and soft­ware are sci­ence-based. I also work close­ly with the Deutsche Bun­des­bank as a guest researcher, using and improv­ing the ““tilt”” data. This jour­ney has let me merge hands-on and aca­d­e­m­ic know-how, espe­cial­ly in guid­ing prod­uct con­tent, cou­pled with lead­er­ship skills and a flex­i­ble mind­set. One of my proud moments includes strik­ing a deal with Deloitte, bring­ing 5FTSE into our fold. I also active­ly talk about ““tilt””, often par­tic­i­pat­ing in dis­cus­sions and events, expand­ing our net­work in the field. I have an aca­d­e­m­ic back­ground in inter­na­tion­al finance, eco­nom­ics, and phi­los­o­phy, com­ple­ment­ed with my ongo­ing part-time Ph.D. in Polit­i­cal Econ­o­my and Finance.
